A song meant to convey an idea that life is how you see it; without your own perspective your individuality means almost nothing to the universe as a whole.
This was supposed to be more art than music, but every time I played it with a band they just couldn't seem to get that it was supposed to be extremely minimalistic, without flourish or embellishments. As a result I came to like the embellishments and at the time of this recording, Tim Young added some great accent guitar parts.
